Short Sale Process & Timeline

The short sale process can take anywhere from 60-90 days. The clock doesn’t start until we have a viable purchase contract submitted to the bank(s). We aggressively market and negotiate with your lenders to accept the short pay off.
Once your house is listed, it is syndicated in the MLS as well as top Internet Real estate portals to get it exposed to the largest pool of buyers looking to buy right now. Our goal is to submit a purchase contract to your creditors within the first 30 days of listing it. If you choose to stop making payments, our aggressive marketing is designed to help mitigate the negative impact on your credit. The quicker we get started the less payments you miss, the better your credit stays.
If you have missed mortgage payment or plan on missing any payments then the foreclosure process will continue until we get the approval for the short sale. Postponing and even recinding foreclosures is not a problem for o ur experienced negotiators.
